Superior Iron LLC Names Holmes President

ELK RIVER, MN – Superior Iron LLC (www.superioriron.com) announced that, effective January 1, 2026, Adam Holmes will be promoted to President of the Elk River-based metal fabrication firm.
Established in 1969, Superior Iron LLC is a locally owned and operated full-service steel fabrication company providing design, fabrication, and installation for clients locally and across the country. The firm is a commercial construction subcontractor manufacturing metals for industrial buildings, data centers, office, retail, apartment, and senior housing facilities, as well as sports facilities, schools, hospitals and government projects. Superior Iron’s clients include some of the region’s largest general contractors and structural steel fabricators.
Holmes replaces Jeff Palkovich as President. Announcing the promotion, Palkovich said, “I’m very pleased that Adam has been promoted to President of Superior Iron. He has excellent management and leadership skills and will continue to provide the highest level of support to our employees, vendors and customers.” Palkovich will remain with Superior Iron as a Co-Owner, Senior Advisor and member of the firm’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Holmes joined Superior Iron in April of 2025 as Director of Customer Development and Project Management. “I am extremely excited for this opportunity. We have great potential for growth while providing the same high-quality products and services our customers rely on,” said Holmes. Holmes brings 27 years of commercial construction experience to Superior Iron.
